I only knew Dave for a short time but he was the first person I spoke to before coming to Oasis Church. He took the time to listen, show empathy and compassion; he made me feel welcome at a time when I was feeling very vulnerable. I will always be so grateful for loving heart, he was Jesus to me in that moment and the few times when we spoke afterward, before he had to step back to focus on his health. A great man who will be greatly missed.
