Firstly I just want to send out all my love and condolences to David’s family ❤️. 
David Thank you for being an incredible friend and inspiration.  I am heartbroken to hear you are gone my friend. But I know you live on for infinity. 🙏
I met you David in 2006 in Manchester. You were with our friend Simon.  It was a random encounter when we met. We had a dance off on canal street the Scottish vs the English. Safe to say you and Simon had the better moved. I didn’t think I would see you again. The following day I was at a loose end, couldn’t find my friend and I bumped into you. With open arms you pretty much adopted me that weekend when we met. We had so much fun and laughter. I knew we would be friends for life. 


A year or so later, during a dark time in my life you went out of your way to get me to London from Scotland. Your only intention was to make me smile again, your heart full of compassion. You did make me smile my friend! you had the ability to make everyone you met feel special and loved. I think back at our times together with so much fondness and gratitude. I’m so grateful for the friendship we had and will always have. 


I have so many stories. Too many to write. Words can’t do them justice. I just want to say that I love you David and thank you. Truly one of the kindest people I have ever known. Always in my heart and thoughts. Steven Simpson. ❤️🙏
